Glazed Strawberry Bread

Ingredients

Bread:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp strawberry purée
  • ½ tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
  4. Fold in diced strawberries gently.
  5. Pour batter into loaf pan and bake 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, strawberry purée, and lemon juice until smooth.
  7. Drizzle glaze over cooled bread.
