Maple Butternut Bacon Brussels

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1 medium butternut squash, peeled & cubed (about 4 cups)
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine Brussels sprouts and butternut squash. Add bacon and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Toss well to coat.
  4. Spread mixture evenly on a parchment‑lined baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway, until veggies are tender and bacon is crispy.
  6. Remove from oven and drizzle with maple syrup. Toss gently to coat.
  7. Return to oven for 5–10 more minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
