Maple Butternut Bacon Brussels
Ingredients
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 medium butternut squash, peeled & cubed (about 4 cups)
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- In a large bowl, combine Brussels sprouts and butternut squash. Add bacon and drizzle with olive oil.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Toss well to coat.
- Spread mixture evenly on a parchment‑lined baking sheet.
- Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway, until veggies are tender and bacon is crispy.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with maple syrup. Toss gently to coat.
- Return to oven for 5–10 more minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
