Pear & Cinnamon Muffins
Ingredients
Dry
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
Wet
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ⅓ cup melted butter
Add-ins
Topping
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a muffin pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, beat eggs and milk. Stir in melted butter.
- Fold in pears.
- Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined (don’t overmix).
- Fill muffin cups ⅔ full.
- Bake 20–25 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Topping
- Mix sugar and cinnamon.
- Brush warm muffins with melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar.
- Serve warm!
