Creamy Spinach Garlic Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 4 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups spinach, roughly chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced mushrooms and sauté 5–7 minutes until tender and lightly browned.
- Add minced garlic and cook 1–2 minutes.
- Stir in chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg if using.
- Add grated Parmesan (optional) and stir until melted.
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
