Creamy Spinach Garlic Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 4 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups spinach, roughly chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté 5–7 minutes until tender and lightly browned.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook 1–2 minutes.
  4. Stir in chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg if using.
  7. Add grated Parmesan (optional) and stir until melted.
  8. Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
