Sautéed Daikon Radish

Ingredients

  • 1 daikon radish
  • 2 tsp minced ginger
  • 2 minced cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Julienne the daikon radish using a peeler.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a deep frying pan and add the garlic and ginger.
  3. Sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the julienned radish and sauté for about 10 minutes, until it begins to soften but is still slightly firm.
  5. Add soy sauce and vinegar, tossing until the radish is evenly coated.
  6. Remove from heat and serve with chopped chives.
