Cajun Parmesan Creamed Cabbage
Ingredients
- 1 medium head green cabbage, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp parsley, chopped
- 2 Tbsp Cajun seasoning
Instructions
Prepare the cabbage by removing wilted leaves, cutting it into quarters, removing the core, and chopping into bite‑sized pieces.
In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the cabbage and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning.
Sauté until softened, about 5–7 minutes.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese while stirring until melted and creamy.
Simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Transfer to serving plates, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve.
