Cream Orange Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp orange zest

Zesty Orange Glaze

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp orange zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In one bowl, mix dry ingredients.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix wet ingredients.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir until just moist.
  5. Spoon batter into a greased or lined muffin tin.
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until done (toothpick comes out clean).
  7. Cool on a wire rack.
  8. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled muffins.
