Honey Lime Grilled Mango

Ingredients

  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 ripe mangos
  • 1 lime, halved
  • Kosher salt
  • Red chili flakes
  • Warmed honey, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Lightly oil and heat the grill.
  2. Slice mangos in half and remove the pits.
  3. Score the flesh in a grid pattern without cutting through the skin. Brush lightly with olive oil.
  4. Place mangos flesh-side down on the grill. Grill for 1–2 minutes until lightly charred.
  5. Remove from heat and squeeze lime juice over top.
  6. Season with salt and chili flakes.
  7. Once cool enough to handle, push the skin side to pop the flesh outward.
  8. Drizzle with warm honey and serve.
